Our commitment
Evie is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people of all abilities. We continually improve the user experience for everyone and apply the relevant accessibility standards so that all guests can access our menus, hours, reservations, events, and location information.
Conformance status
This website aims to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide array of disabilities, including visual, auditory, motor, and cognitive impairments.
Measures we take
- Automated auditing. Every page is regularly tested with axe-core, the industry-standard accessibility testing engine, against WCAG 2.1 A and AA success criteria.
- Regression testing. Accessibility checks are part of our automated test suite, so fixes cannot be accidentally reverted.
- Semantic markup. Pages use appropriate landmarks, headings, labels, and alternative text so they work with screen readers and keyboard navigation.
- Keyboard support. All interactive elements are reachable and operable by keyboard, including a “Skip to Main Content” link.
- Accessible forms. Form fields have visible labels and are associated with their controls.
Third-party content
Some features — such as the online reservation widget (OpenTable), online ordering (Toast), maps, and embedded documents — are provided by third-party vendors. While we select vendors with accessibility in mind, we do not control their platforms and cannot guarantee their full conformance.
